Born in Roma, Azzurra Primavera immediately followed her natural instinct as photographer after acquiring Liceo Classico school certificate. The theme that most fascinates her is portraiture. Her first professional experience began in the ‘90s, with her working in theatres, showing actors on stage and in their changing rooms. The assiduous visits to theatres led her to being recognised as “the actors’ photographer”, and her natural capacity to entertain and create a lively professional relationship soon led to her being highly sought after even by leading agents and film and theatre producers.
She works with the Civitella Ranieri Foundation of New York and with the American director David Warren, together developing a series of projects that also involved the students of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.
She was a jury member of the Canon “Power to your Next Step Award 2013”.
Azzurra Primavera is the youngest photographer in the Mondadori Portfolio team.
