Giorgio Lotti

Giorgio Lotti

Born in Milan in 1937. He developed a passion for photography at a young age, and as an adult worked with leading dailies and weeklies: Le Ore, Tempo, Settimo Giorno, Epoca. In 1964, he joined the staff of Epoca, for which he travelled throughout Italy and around the world. Some of his best reports were published in Epoca and then in book form, which made him famous throughout the world. In 1973, he received the much-sought-after “The World Understanding Award” from the University of Photojournalism, Columbia.
