Quattrone has been an art photographer for 40 years. For Mondadori Electa, he has documented pictorial cycles and the restoration of famous frescos in Italy, such as Da Vinci’s Last Supper, Andrea Mantegna’s Camera degli Sposi, Giotto’s Scrovegni Chapel and the upper Basilica at Assisi. The images from the Dentro la pittura series defined a new style in photographing art, aimed at showing aspects of the work of art, presenting world masterpieces in life-size details.
