Mauro Galligani

Mauro Galligani attended the School of Cinematography in Rome. The history of cinema and the masters of Neorealism have influenced the filmic quality of his more than 1000 reportage. After his work with Agenzia Italia, he joined Il Giorno where he was in contact with the best Italian school of journalism, which has since marked the consistency and style of his reporting. In 1971 he moved to Mondadori. Epoca was his newspaper, where he also served as picture editor. For this magazine, Mauro Galligani followed the great international news events like the wars in Central America, Africa, the Middle East, the Balkans and the Caucasus. The communist world: the Soviet Union from the early seventies to Putin, China at the time of Mao Tse Tung and today. He has witnessed all the changes in countries, cultures and protagonists. When Epoca closed he became picture editor at Panorama. He also collaborated with Life for many years.
